2015-16 Cheer Parent Meeting

***EDIT*** It was brought to my attention that this timing of this post and tryouts didn't line up. This post was  set using Pacific Standard Time, so it was showing 2 hours prior to the actual Central time of 4:30. We apologize for the misunderstanding and can see how that would be confusing and frustrating. Everything is based 100% on judges scores for the final tryout date and teacher evaluations. All coaches deliberated and made the decision to post the final list after every 7th grader tried out. Thank you for your concern!

Cheer Tryouts (7th - 8th)

Good Morning!

Just a reminder that Cheer Tryouts are next week (Tues - Fri) from 3 - 4. On Tuesday, you will be assigned your Seventh Grade Group.

The dance will be the fall pep assembly dance and the cheer will be "Blow You Away: We're the Campbell Mustangs and we're here to stay, we'll dominate, and devastate, and blow you away."

On Friday you need to bring snacks to share.

Tuesday wear your red cheer shirt
Wednesday and Thursday you can wear anything
Friday wear your cardigan with jeans or leggings and a white or black shirt

Tryouts and Filly Fans

Good Morning!

Coach Forte wanted me to let you know the Filly Fan night was changed to tonight due to last night's weather.

For tryouts, we will have clinics Tues - Thurs. 2/17-19 from 3-4 and tryouts will be on Friday, February 20

We will meet in advisory next week sometime to go over the routine, so please keep your ears open to announcements!

LSN Opportunities

Hi Cheerleaders!

Don't forget about Open Stunt Night this Wednesday, Jan. 28th at LSN. It is for current cheerleaders only.

Tournament Week

Here is this week's schedule:

Monday - A Team cheers at 4pm at BCMS for the Girl's A Tournament. They should be done by 5

Tuesday - B Team cheers at 5:15 at BCMS for the Girl's A Tournament. They need to arrive at BCMS at 4:50, and they should be done at 6:15

Wednesday - If we win, we will not cheer due to the stunt clinic at North, if we lose, A Team will cheer at 4pm and should be done by 5

Thursday - Cheer Party. Give Collier $5 for pizza, and you will need to be picked up at 3:30. BRING YOUR UNIFORM to turn in. If you do not bring your uniform, I will be writing fine notices for $80. The party ends at 3:30.


TRYOUTS
Tryouts are Feb 17-20 from 3-4:30 each night. On Friday, you will stay until tryouts are finished (usually 4:30, but might be later or earlier depending on numbers. I will have a better idea during tryout week)

On Friday of tryouts we have our large end of cheer celebration, so each girl needs to bring a snack to share.

I can't believe our season is almost over!

Cheer Photos

Hi Ladies!

Just a reminder about cheer photos this Friday. If you would like to pre-order, you get a better price on the pictures. Here is the link: http://pec-sports.hhimagehost.com/Consumer/PrePayItemSelection.aspx?EK=47639 Also, if any moms would like to come help make sure the girls hair and everything looks okay during the photoshoot, that would be helpful. Just drop by at 2:50 in the gym if you are willing to help corral and help girls with bows and such.

I also have a few order forms in my office, if you want to stop by and grab one.

Also, I handed out information about the LSN stunt clinic night. It is free for cheerleaders, and lasts from 5:30-8:30pm on January 28th in the LSN fieldhouse. It is an open stunt night, and is great prep if you are planning to try out for North next year.

Finally, the game that was cancelled on December 18th has been moved to January 12th. Winter B will be cheering.
